Griswolds Road Trip Again
All the rumors about a new movie starring the Griswold family are apparently true. Vacation (1983) featured the cross-country drive to Walley World, and the new movie will be from the perspective of Rusty Griswold (the son in the original movies), and his quest to take his family to Walley World before it shuts its doors forever. Chevy Chase, as Clark Griswold, is rumored to play a role in the movie, now a grandfather. Truly one of the best road trip movies ever, the new film should be fun to watch. What are your family’s favorite road trip movies?

Look kids, Big Ben! I liked Thelma and Louise, but perhaps it is more for a girlfriends weekend gone bad?
I was just on a girls road trip last week to Opryland- which is huge. I missed the turn to registration- twice- and my friend said, each time,”Big Ben, Parliament”.
As for movies… My kids love to watch Cars when we are driving anywhere.
Our family does that too. We tied my mom to the top of the car once in Europe and the locals thought we were NUTS!!
The Great Idaho Getaway is a reality-ish family road trip documentary about the Lumpkin Family (from Seattle, WA)’s road trip around the state of Idaho – http://www.greatidahogetaway.org.
The fun part? You don’t have to freeze, standing in front of a Red Box to watch it!!!
